What is a DLL file

 


it is Dynamic Link Library

a library of executable functions or data that can be used by windows application.

This file format (dll) works same as the windows exe file format..

Dll file is important for pc to run applications.

Example: 

Run32.dll - it is a library file of 32bit operating systems of Microsoft windows to run systems properly

What is a .Exe file
It is Executable file
it is used to run or install any program
It is end with extension (.exe)
Due to .exe user or system executes the system's or users process..

Example:
Rundll.exe - it is microsoft windows systems file process is used to run system perfectly


what is MBR ?
It is master boot record (MBR) is a type of boot sector

which is created by IBM Personal computers.



It is sequence of 512 byte in its first sector to hold partition table
and also use to bootstrap the OS.

What is Zip file ?
zip is data compressed and archive format file.


Zip file was created by phil katz in 1989

and implemented as pkware's pkzip utility.


Now there are lots of utility available to compressed or decompressed the data or file.

.Zipx is newer compressed zip

Uses of zip:

• It minimize / compressed the data size on hdd.

• It also use in installation process to completed decompression of setup.
